Saturday, September 17, 2022 students of the entrepreneurship course of the Mathematics and Data Science Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Andalas University in 2022 held an entrepreneurship webinar with the theme “Hacking Digital Business Talent for Young Entrepreneurs”. This activity is carried out online through a zoom meeting. This activity is a form of entrepreneurship course project that aims to train students’ skills to be active, skilled and communicative. This one-week webinar is limited to 100 participants, followed by mathematics students and lecturers.
This activity was also attended by Mrs. Dr. Yanita as the Head of the Department of Mathematics and Data Science, FMIPA Unand and was opened directly by Mr. Budi Rudianto M.Si as a lecturer in the Entrepreneurship Course. The webinar with the theme of digital business was presented attractively by speakers who were competent in their fields, namely Mr. Yaumil Fajri as Co-Founder & CEO of APPSKEP Indonesia and sister Aidilla Darmawahyuni as Facilitator of Google Gapura Digital & Womenwill Padang.
In approximately three hours, participants gained useful knowledge and were facilitated by a discussion forum related to digital business which is currently a hot topic among young entrepreneurs, this is the main reason for the adoption of the digital business theme in this entrepreneurship webinar. With this webinar, students as the younger generation are guided to be able to open their horizons and adapt to the world of digitalization.
